It is my distinct pleasure and privilege to be elected to serve as the new President of ISCA. I look forward to bringing new ideas to the table to help make an already great association even better.
We have endured our share of challenges together over the past few years thanks to the COVID-19 global pandemic. But I believe we are stronger together and I believe that ISCA is the key to fostering communication among each other, bringing us together for occasions such as our annual conventions, golf tournament, lunch and learns, our annual Christmas luncheon, and general members’ meetings.
We continue to enjoy good relationships with our two union partners, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, despite the challenges of the last round of collective bargaining, which were unprecedented. We also enjoy good working relationships with other industry associations, with whom we collaborate on important initiatives such as getting prompt payment legislation and rapid adjudication dispute resolution put in place.
ISCA will celebrate its 52nd anniversary of being incorporated as an association in September, 2023.
We have much to be proud of and we have achieved many things together over those 52 years. We are stronger together, and our industry has been made better through our association with each other over the years. ISCA has grown from humble beginnings to an industry-leading and widely influential organization through your participation. So thank you to all the members who have made and continue to make ISCA great.
ISCA represents over 80 contractors and 30 suppliers and manufacturers throughout the province who employ over 10,000 members of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America
